UK Government Plan Targets Smoking, Embraces Vaping

The UK government has outlined a plan regarding vaping that may well have office employees rushing to vape at their desks.

The Tobacco Control Plan calls for greater access to safer alternatives to smoking with politicians aiming to cut smoking rates by one quarter in adults and eliminate tobacco use among young people, according to The Telegraph.

The plan reminds employers that vapor products are not included in the country’s smoke free legislation, and that adopted policies that ban smoking should not be applied to vaping.

The government is pushing forward and looks to set a “bold ambition for a smoke-free generation,” The Telegraph also reports.
