Hemidall’s Toll Road (Bifrost Remix) by kitus

This was about perfect, to me, for citrus forward sherbet with a little candy raspberry. I’m not sure I can pick out lemon, lime, and orange individually so you could say it’s a bit muddled, but I don’t know how you’d go separating those. There’s plenty of separation between the citrus and raspberry, where it really counts. Love the mouthfeel that orange cream develops after a good long steep and I’m sure the Vienna Cream helps with that as well. WS-23 is nice and cold and was a good call versus something like Koolada or Polar Blast which would probably have obliterated that creamy depth. Or menthol, to my taste, because that would have been yucky. Pretty awesome how much flavor this is packing with so little flavoring and how sweet it is without any added sweetener. I did think the first drag or two tasted a little cleaning product-y but that went away quickly and I couldn’t detect it even after re-dripping multiple times, so I’m not sure if that was the lime, lemon, or my imagination.

    Posting reviews for kitus:

    Thin MInt
At a whiff, it’s bang on accurate to that favored annual treat. At a taste, though, I’m utterly baffled. The inhale is that chocolatey mint we all know and love. In the changeover from inhale to exhale, there’s a hint of crumbly chocolatey cookie, and a slight note of butter? Interesting. Legitimately uncertain how to improve upon this, other than to try and punch up that cookie note. Biscuit (inw or jf?), or possibly whatever Id10-t used in the green tea kit kat recipe?

Seriously outside that buttery note, this is spot the hell on, and irrespective of that note, this is some wickedly tasty shit. Banger, my dude.

    NV Honey 1%
kay, i can see why this would need to be diluted. any damned stronger than this and my pancreas woulda exploded. Slightly smokey, but otherwise utterly bang on to a clover honey. Tasty and sweet.

    Boss remix
Kay, yowza, that banana note. Just bang off the bat. Thankfully, it’s real honest to god just perfectly ripened banana, or I’d be gagging right now. (Waaaaay too much banana as a kid) There’s a nice whiff of honey in the changeover, and then a milky cereal, something in the cornflake/frosted flakes family. It’s odd, and this just may be my palette talking, but it’s like that perfect state of JUST soggy enough cereal to be just perfect. Holy shit, this stuff blows the original boss outta the water. Seriously great stuff here!

…damnit, now you’re forcing me to try folk’s version, just so i can compare and contrast…

    Green Tea Kit Kat 2019
Being a fan of the original, have been looking forward to this. My only complaint about the original is I found it to be too delicate. Too hot/much wattage, and look the hell out. This puppy does not have that issue. The green tea is delicious, just absolutely great, the wafer flavor is spot on…this tastes like what my brain says a green tea kit kat should friggin taste like. In those moments when I do hammer it too hard chain vaping, instead of becoming a scorched hellish peppery mess, this merely becomes a slightly overly sweet green tea. Oh, gee, damn.

Now that I know it’s been published, kinda interested in seeing what changes were made. Seriously impressive stuff. MAtcha tea, creaminess, wafer….yep. Improves in every way on the original. Killer stuff!

    Real Honey by Nic Vape

Probably the best honey I have tried. Thick and sweet, maybe a little undersweet but the flavor is there. It’s a touch floral, but no more floral than a nice clover honey should be, and being overly floral is a real problem with honey. I’m not getting even a hit of cat piss, thank the gods, the other common problem with honey flavors, as is like sickly decomposing thing that this isn’t doing. As far as off notes go, I’m getting a touch of smokiness, as Kitus already noted. This would make it the perfect honey for mixing with tobaccos.

I’m not at all sure about what’s going on here but I think something in this or something about the combination of things in this is disagreeing with me. I’m inclined to blame it on the Bananascotch Cream since that’s the only flavor here I’ve never tried solo or in any mix before. It’s very sharp, like the smell of burnt sugar, not just cooked or bruleed sugar, but sugar or caramel that has actually been accidentally set ablaze. I’m also getting a hint of clove-like taste like I get with too much of some banana flavors and I know I wouldn’t be getting that from 0.25% FLV Banana on its own. All of that unwelcome sharpness and whisp of clove is right out in front. Underneath it, I do get a nice dark brown sugar and crunchy cereal with no frito. It is maybe a touch dry, but not enough to be bothersome, especially for the crunchy cereal profile. I think if you wanted to fix the perception of dryness, a very light touch of some sweetener might help.

    Thin Mint by isuamadog

Pretty much getting what I was promised here and am happy about that. The mint tastes exactly as it should. FLV CDM is truly crying out to me turned into a Thin Mint. And there’s some chocolate and crunchy cookie and they mostly do what they should.

One thing: HS Australian Chocolate. I read the notes and saw that trying that is in the works. It needs to happen. This is nearly perfect, and I really appreciate keeping the chocolate very dark, as that is very important. But the FA Cocoa is a little too dry, bitter, bakery cocoa, even with the cream and sweet things helping it out. HS Australian Chocolate instead seems like it would fix that right up while still staying nice and dark.

Alternatively, it’s been proven that the otherwise prominent coconut part of FLV Chocolate Deutsche can be buried under a fair amount of CDM, and will also stay nice and dark. That might even eliminate the need for Bavarian Cream and the Holiest of Holies here.

Imperfection aside, this was certainly an enjoyable vape. Of course, it would be hard for it to not be, because CDM is just that good. The biscuit might be a bit on the buttery side for Thin Mint but it’s tasty and you could even say you wanted to improve on the taste of an actual thin mint with that.

Never tried the original, don’t know much about tea, and here we go. I’ve only had boring-tasting green tea (the drink, not e-juice), but this leaf has some serious flavor. It is upfront and let’s you know that it’s there. Very leafy and memorable. There’s plenty of wafer (I can see how you wanted it lower), but it’s not crazy. That wafer flavor really completes the recipe.

The white chocolate is my favorite part. It actually tastes like white chocolate somehow. It has some creaminess, yet it’s not like cream or icing. Similar, though. I’m pretty familiar with CAP VWC and had no clue it was in here. It all connects beautifully to the next flavor. Without this sweet white chocolate part it wouldn’t be desserty enough.

I really enjoyed this, another recipe well done. Strong leafy green tea flavored white chocolate mixed with wafer. Crazy idea that somehow works.

    Thin Mint by isuamadog

Holy realism with this one. The smell and taste are a dead ringer for Girl Scout Thin Mints. Chocolate cookie with peppermint is a great combo. I’ve been wanting to try Creme de Menthe and it does not disappoint. The mint is at a perfect level for me.

I like both the chocolate and the cookie. After finishing the bottle, there was just something small keeping the recipe from feeling balanced. I got a tiny bit of an off-flavor..maybe the FA Cocoa? Not sure. Maybe it is a tad high for me. I’m not familiar with FA Cocoa, maybe it is too potent for a simple chocolate cookie. I would play with other chocolates and see which you prefer. I don’t think it’s the ry4, that was a genius idea. A tiny bit of tobacco in certain non-tobacco recipes can add an extra dimension like a secret ingredient in cooking.

Heck of a job pulling this off. Can’t believe how real it tastes, it’s a Thin Mint 100%. Just needs a small tweak to smooth things out, in my opinion.

Hemidall’s Toll Road (Bifrost Remix) by kitus

Tastes like rainbow sherbet indeed. The WS-23 is icy cold, but not too much. Any higher and I’d be frozen lol. When I first tried it I mainly got a raspberry taste. Later on I’m getting a whole rainbow sherbet profile with the citrus as well. I never really knew what was in rainbow sherbet and now I know. The fruits are balanced and the hard part is done.

After trying VT Fizzy Sherbet in other club recipes, I think you should try that flavor in this recipe just to see what happens. Yours is perfect if you’re after a sherbet fruit mix, I’d just like to know how Fizzy Sherbet would change the dessert aspect of it. Yours is a tad creamy, but not enough for a full on sherbet IMO. It’s definitely not muddled. Fruits sound easy but they’re not, great job. This was a refreshing change during the winter months.

    NV Honey 1%

This was a middle-of-the-road honey for me. I’ve had honey that’s super thick and sweet. and honey that’s really bright and floral. I think this gets the best of both worlds without being too strong. I could see it being used in recipes no problem. Simple and tasty, I vaped the whole thing no problem. I recommend

    Boss remix –
    Nose test: faint banana.
Day 1 – I actually had the original diy remix last summer. I put some fresh cotton on here and even through the new cotton taste, I’m getting a smooth banana. Circus peanuts was the perfect description. Frankly, I like it, if even for nostalgia’s sake. Or whatever, I like the circus peanut taste with no disclaimers. It’s pretty low here anyway. I could have taken this at a stronger taste, whether this would have worked or not, I don’t know. In all this is pretty smooth, so if your goal was to remove any offensive flavors, I’d say you accomplished that.
Three week mark – the banana is super faint to me now. It’s still there on the nose test but I can’t pick it up at all on the in/exhale. I feel like I’m getting some kind of note here that’s not ‘off’ but I can tell I don’t prefer it. can’t put my finger on where it’s coming from. I’m somewhat suspecting the hazelnuts and cream since I never was friendly to hazelnut. Aside from my ex wife’s mother loving hazelnut coffee with French cream creamer (ick!), I just don’t prefer it as a nut flavor. I didn’t get that same reaction from the folkart version so I’m almost 99% positive it’s just my preference. Surprisingly, I didn’t notice it when the banana was more flavor forward so I’d have loved to see this with a stronger banana, a different or lesser pronounced hazelnut, or even a nut blend.
Full month steep – Surprisingly the banana is back for me at what is probably just the right level. All that nuttiness I was espousing is seemingly blended in smoothly. No off-nut note. Maybe I’m the nut? Maybe this is just one of those ‘needs a solid steep’ to be perfectly blended?

    Bitfrost remix –
Day 1: Awesome coldness. Lemon comes through strong with a hint of lime. I can’t make out the other flavors at all. I’m a big lime fan and can go just straight lime so I’m not sure if I’m just enjoying that part of this with the creamsicle part as a nice backing or what. There are more things happening than just citrus but all I can distinctly taste is cold lemon lime.
Three weeks: Still cold god bless ws 23. Lime has settled some and lemon has gotten faint. To me, this is more of a lime gelato than rainbow sherbet. Rainbow to me is more indistinct citrus fruitiness and I’m still getting a fair amount of lime (but fuller with a bit of lemon) as my most distinct flavor. I still can’t pick out any creaminess, berry, or orange straight but it lends itself to that gelato type creaminess. Definitely in my taste range and very enjoyable vape. Hard to put down.
Full month – frozen lime gelato

    GTKK2019-
Full month steep – Nose test: I’ve got a faint smell here that I can’t place. Like some kind of nutty AP like smell. Never had the original. First impression: interesting and in a good way. There’s some floral notes that are subtle and work extremely well with the base notes. It feels like a chocolatey vibe with a sip of tea. Like I’m in some fancy place in manhattan that sells ridiculuously small portions of overpriced desserts with fancy herbal teas that are totally worth the price for shits and giggles once in a while. I had a few pulls but then had to read the ingredients to see just what was going on here. I don’t understand what’s happening. The wafer is perfect for me. I don’t get a wafer per se, I get what I want from a wafer which is body and tooth to the flavors. I absolutely regret not trying this out of the box to see how it steeps. I haven’t tried esai tea before now. This is a really awesome combo and adds a wonderful dimension to the whole experience. It’s a sip of tea with the dessert in your mouth, where the dessert sweetens the tea. The sweetener here is wonderful, too, and leaves that streak of sweet as it all washes down. My fear of white chocolate flavors has been demolished. I hate white chocolate in real life. But here it’s clearly bringing that waxy creaminess that makes kit kats so special to me. This is a very good vape. I half tempted to try the original now, but this version right here has done a great job of accomplishing everything and then some if what it set out to do. It’s light, yet full flavored, floral yet sweet and blended. This is a straight shot to flavor town with curiosities along the way. This is well within my taste range and just enough outside to make it super exciting. I really like it. Like I really regret having to put it down. This is as near perfect as a vape can get for me. Kudos to you and your inspiration.

NV real honey – nose; not getting a smell at all off this. Never heard of this one. Light on the honey, the floral aspect here is where this shines for me. Slightly sweet aroma mixed with that full mouth floral and a mild honey back end taste. I can see this going very well with teas, and fruit teas or taking the place of honeysuckle in some instances or adding some honey taste while being a more forgiving flavor than FA’s version.
